Wilton Cake Decorating - Course 2, Class 1
I enjoyed the first Wilton course so much that I thought I should go ahead and take Course 2, which is Flowers and Borders. Tonight we reviewed the basics from Course 1 (how to make the icing, fill the bag, etc.), and we also reviewed the shell border. We learned the Rosette, the Reverse Shell, Rosebud, and Chrysanthemum, using Buttercream icing. Unfortunately, it was all practice, so I don't have any pictures of those techniques. Our instructor also went over the Royal Icing recipe and Color Flow Icing recipe. We'll be using them to make our flowers throughout the course to use on our finale cake.
